There are several things to consider when whitening your teeth. Teeth can be sensitive after whitening so care afterwards is paramount to the success of whitening.  Do not drink or eat any food that is colored like wine, juices, fruits or vegetables such as carrots.  Do not drink coffee or tea for a few days afterwards to ensure whitening continues as the tannins in food and coffee can re-color your sensitive teeth.  Teeth are more sensitive to cold and hot temperatures as well, so be careful when eating or drinking extreme temperatures.
